Chapter 515

Fort Collins / Loveland, CO

EAA Eagle Flights

 Introductory flight experiences for adults

The EAA Eagle Flights program picks up where the Young Eagles Program leaves off by offering adults the opportunity to experience general aviation first hand.  If you have “always wanted to fly” -  but didn’t know where or how to start - Eagle Flights is for you.

An Eagle Flight is your opportunity to experience all that general aviation has to offer. You’ll fly with a licensed, local EAA member pilot who will take you through the steps of flying your own airplane—from visually inspecting an airplane before the flight to taking off, landing, and navigating the sky. During your flight, you’ll have the opportunity to follow along at the controls as your pilot shows you how to make gentle climbs, turns, and descents.

Eagle Flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of local EAA members who volunteer their time, aircraft, and fuel. After your flight, he or she can answer any questions you may have about flying or the next steps you can take on your journey to becoming a pilot.

EAA Chapter 515 actively supports the Eagle Flights program by providing Eagle Flights in the northern Colorado area.

Eagle Flights are handled on an individual basis or at our annual Eagle Flights Event.
